4 Ingredient Biscuits

Hello there friends!  Today I decided to give you both avenues of getting this newest recipe.  I linked the blog post in the video AND typed the recipe out for you in the video description.  Tell me what you like best.  I will take it into consideration from now on.  Sometimes there is a story or description needed that I need to get across that I just need to type out or share.  Sometimes it is as easy as giving it to you in the description box.  Don't forget to subscribe if you saw this video, keep coming back, we make good food here, and it would be a shame for you to miss it!
Today is, biscuits.  Now let me be honest, I am not a fan of biscuits.  In fact, if I go somewhere and or order sausage gravy over biscuits, I substitute the biscuits for toast!  Seriously, I do.  Biscuits get stuck in my throat, they are always dry, tasteless and just give me the ick.

My husband likes SOME biscuits.  He was knocking around the interwebs and found this "3 Ingredient Biscuit" recipe.  Well, he asked me to give them a try.  The truth is, they are actually 4 ingredients, and I wasn't exactly super excited.  That is just the truth.

I decided to give them a try, he was really excited about it and I like
Making things he has found or likes.  I decided, what the heck and now we find ourselves here.  Me, being shocked at how much I love these biscuits.  Me, wondering if we should have Chicken and Biscuits for dinner tomorrow because I want to make them again.  Don't get me wrong, I've tried biscuits once and failed miserably but he assured me these were fool proof and he was right.

So, here are the easy ingredients, they take MAYBE 25 minutes start to eating time.

2 cups baking mix (Bisquick or store brand)
½ cup lemon lime soda (I would not use diet but do you boo)
½ cup sour cream
1 stick of butter, divided

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.  In a 9x9 or 8x8 pan, add in half of your stick of butter and put into the preheating oven, let it melt while you prepare the biscuits.

In a bowl combine, baking mix, soda and sour cream.  Mix until you achieve a bit of a shaggy dough.  It will be slightly tacky but no worries, carry on.  Sprinkle the counter with some baking mix and dump your dough out.  Knead just a few times to bring the dough together and then pat it flat.  You should get 9 biscuits (easy to double or triple for more).  I got 11.  I think I patted my dough out a little thinner than I was allegedly supposed to.  No harm, no foul.  Now remove that pan with the melted butter from the oven, remember it will be HOT!  Using a biscuit cutter, lid or top of a glass, cut your biscuits. Now as you put them in the pan, flip them in the butter.  This will give you an unreal buttery result in the flavor!  Get them all in and bake for 20 minutes.   Right when you take them out, take the leftover half stick of butter and run it over the tops for added buttery goodness! The perfection will just amaze you.  If you have failed at biscuits or just need an amazing recipe, these are what will put you on the biscuit map!  I promise!!  Eat warm!
