Homemade Coffee Creamer

Hello, hello!

Welcome back!  Been awhile since I have seen you.  I have some reasons, but all in all, I am good and hope to find you doing well too!  Who has done the official switch from hot to iced coffee?  I do both all year, but I have got to tell you, this recipe may have changed my life completely.  An iced cinnabon coffee...YES!  Equally good in a hot coffee this just hits different with an iced one!

Let's get to what you need.  I tested this with milk AND with creamer, but the half and half gave it the right amount of richness I wanted without being to rich.  This is NOT a sugar free recipe, I repeat, NOT sugar free but it is free of the insane amount of chemicals in your store-bought varieties.  I am working hard to eliminate chemicals when I can.  Eww, just look at those labels!
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon (optional)
  • In a quart jar or bigger, add in all ingredients and place lid on top.  Shake vigorously until all ingredients are combines.  You may need to get in there with an immersion blender (if you used a wide mouth jar), whisk or shake until you pass it.  Oh, you can use a little handheld milk frother as well.   It will last in your fridge for up until the date on your half and half, but I am fairly sure it won't last more than a week or two!

Now here are some combinations for other flavors!  You can use extracts or syrups!
Cinnamon Bun
2 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp cinnamon

Vanilla
4 Tbsp vanilla extract

Almond Joy
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbsp coconut extract or syrup
1 tsp almond extract

Bailey's Irish Cream
4 Tbsp Baileys (ok maybe 5 or 6) :)

Pumpkin Spice
2 Tbsp pumpkin spice
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon

Chocolate Mint
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbsp mint extract

Ok friends, that is about all I got for ya, BUT I am sure you can find many more on the interwebs that are delicious and exciting!

Get those chemicals out of your coffee creamer!  (Cause clearly, I am the queen of perfect eating...insert an eyeroll so big your eyeballs really DO get stuck in the top of your head)  My mom said it would happen...:)

ENJOY!
